Alaska Senate Absentee Ballots

August 31, 2010
by

Just a quick update, with about half of the ballots counted, Joe Miller’s lead was cut to 1,294 votes from the original 1,668.  The next round of votes being counted, about 5,800 of them, is from Murkowski strongholds near Anchorage.  The following group of about 2,700 votes will come from the Fairbanks area, which is Miller territory.

I don’t think that Murkowski has enough votes left to change the outcome of this race.
